We give new life to used gearboxes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our remanufacturing process consists of giving the transmission a second life, guaranteeing optimum quality and reducing waste. A remanufactured gearbox is, in fact, a used gearbox to which all damaged components and those usured have been replaced. At the end of all scrupulous quality tests, the remanufactured gearbox will have the same technical characteristics and performance as a new one.<\/strong><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The company’s production process is based on an industrialised system, composed by 6 different steps<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

1. Disassembly<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
\n

The gearbox is disassembled into individual components. Already at this early stage there is a pre-selection of components to discard those with evident defects or usured. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

2. Washing<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
\n

The mechanical components are washed with special anti-corrosion degreasing agents to prevent long- term damage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

3. Selection<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
\n

A specialised technician checks the mechanical parts in detail, using specific equipment such as a gearmeter, an instrument that detects and evaluates any dents or damage to the gears. Damaged components are then discarded. In addition, parts that are subject to usury or represent weak points in the gearbox are always discarded . <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

4. Assembly<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
\n

The mechanical components, new or remanufactured, are assembled according to the standards required by the gearbox manufacturer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

5. Testing<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
\n

The remanufactured gearbox is tested. This process takes place in three steps: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Bench test: through a test bench specially developed for Tecnotrasmissioni, the gearbox is set in motion, checking that the gears work correctly and that the ratios are those designed by the car manufacturer;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Noise test: through a sound level meter, it is checked that while the gearbox is working, it is not too noisy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Air tightness test: an internally developed instrument is used to check that there are no leaks in the gearbox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    6. Shipping<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
    \n

    The product is packed safely so that there can be no problems during transport, then it is consigned to the carrier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
