Disassembly
Each gearbox is fully disassembled into its individual components. At this stage, an initial
technical selection already takes place, removing parts with visible defects or wear not
compatible with Tecnotrasmissioni standards.
Washing and reconditioning
Mechanical components undergo washing with specific anti-corrosion systems and
degreasers. Then, depending on the material and condition of each component,
dedicated reconditioning operations are carried out in compliance with the applicable
technical specifications.
Selection and dimensional inspection
Each component is checked by specialised technicians using dedicated instruments to
detect wear, dents or damage to the gears. Critical parts are preventively discarded,
regardless of their apparent condition, to ensure uniformity and reliability.
Assembly to specification
The gearbox is reassembled using new and compliant remanufactured components,
selected and validated in the previous stages. Assembly is carried out in full compliance
with the vehicle manufacturer’s technical specifications, internal production standards
and company certifications.
Functional testing
Testing is the final stage of the production process and verifies the correct operation of
the unit and its compliance with specifications before shipment
Packaging and shipping
The gearbox is packaged to ensure maximum protection during transport and entrusted
to selected carriers, in line with the agreed lead times.
Structured checks
Inspection carried out using dedicated instruments and gear measuring equipment.
Wear, cracks and breakages are checked on every component from the earliest stages
of the production process.
Leak testing
Each unit undergoes leak testing using dedicated systems to rule out losses and ensure
component reliability once installed.
Bench functional testing
Checks correct gear engagement, ratio consistency with OEM specifications and smooth
operation. The test bench was developed in collaboration with specialists in testing
systems.
Noise control
Noise levels during operation are checked using phono-metric instruments to identify
anomalies that may not be detectable by the operator.
Coverage
Covers defects attributable to the remanufacturing process or to the components used.
Where the issue falls within warranty coverage, repair, testing and return transport are
included.
Structured process
Each claim follows a defined and traceable workflow: technical analysis, functional
testing, any repair in line with OEM specifications, and final testing before return.
Technical reports
Upon request, Tecnotrasmissioni provides technical reports supporting the outcome of
the inspection, for transparent and documented non-conformity management.
